RIP Elizabeth Taylor 1932-2011

She was the epitome of true beauty, she was the definition of Hollywood glamour, she was the original tabloid diva, she was Elizabeth Taylor.

Her iconic beauty will live on in her movies and photos. She showed us how a true beauty ages gracefully, even through all the pain and illness she endured. As Dita Von Teese tweeted earlier, "Rather than be sad for the loss of the stars of Hollywood's Golden Age, let's be glad we got to see the way glamour ages exquisitely."

I'm not going to rewrite her life story here, that's already been done many times before. I am just going to say, "Rest in peace Ms. Taylor. Thank you for being the elegant, gorgeous, inspiring woman you were."

 RIP Elizabeth Taylor 1932-2011

Side note: I'm not going to dwell on it, but I do know the crazies at Westboro Baptist Church plan to picket her funeral. They disgust me and I don't want to give them one more moment of attention, except to say that they continue to prove what bigoted, hypocritical, misinformed morons they really are.

Love this chick!!!

This season, Hailee Steinfeld has shown us that she can class it up (in a totally age appropriate way) on the red carpet! Now she has shown us how she gets comfy when the show is over!

Here she is after the Oscars...

See the pic here.

The only way I could love this more, is if she was wearing Vans. But, the Chuck Taylors are pretty good too!

The Downfall of an Artist - The Rise of Another.

John Galliano was always one of my favorite fashion designers. Now he ranks among my least favorite people.

It's very sad to watch the downfall of such an incredible talent, but I believe that Dior's quick action to fire him was necessary & appropriate under the circumstances.

I vote for Riccardo Tisci as his replacement. I think his edginess would be a perfect fit for Dior.

Who are you hoping replaces Galliano?
