SAG Awards Red Carpet

Here's the Breakdown:

Sandra Bullock in Alexander McQueen - just because she was presenting Betty White with an award, didn't mean she needed to dress like she was Betty White's age! This is far too matronly for her!

Kate Hudson in Emilio Pucci - in general, I love this dress. I don't love that she is sporting white again! However, this one is so much better than that contraption from last week's Golden Globes. My main issue with this is the angle that was shown on TV while she was presenting...it was less than flattering and made it look like she had massive cellulite on her rear-end. We all know she is super skinny and fit, so it was clearly an issue with the dress, lighting, or camera angle...but, whatever the issue, it was a cringe-worthy moment (I kinda felt bad for her, because no woman, no matter how small wants that image on TV.)

Drew Barrymore in Monique Lhullier - I could have liked this without the strange looking apron thing at the waist. She also should have touched up her roots for the occasion!

Anna Pacquin in Alexander McQueen - looks like she's headed to the club. I'm a huge fan of Alexander McQueen, but this dress was totally inappropriate for an awards show - excluding the Teen Choice Awards or anything on MTV! The shoes are as bad as the ones she rocked last week, but at least last week's were harder to see because of dress length. Anna - stay away from the Forever 21 sale racks!

Carey Mulligan in Lanvin - this is the second week in a row that I have seen ill-fitting Lanvin gowns (last week on January Jones). She looks sloppy and the hem looks pinned up...it's a little weird.

Anna Kendrick in Alberta Ferretti - not a bad dress, but she looked terribly uncomfortable on the red carpet. I'm not sure if it was her nerves or the fit of the dress, but she kept covering her waistline in a protective way. She's still new, she'll get the hang of it after a while.

Lea Michele in Malandrino - looks so much better than last week! This look is sexy and sophisticated, unlike her high school character on Glee. She redeems herself from her ruffly Oscar de la Renta gown from the Golden Globes.

Marion Cotillard in Elie Saab - This dress is a mess! It gives me Bjork flashbacks!

Overall, the SAG red carpet was far better than the Golden Globes! The Grammy's next week should be really interesting. Stay tuned!
